Newtown Dental Practice is based in Newtown, Birmingham and was established more than 40 years ago. The aim of Newtown Dental Practice is to be the best emergency dentist in Birmingham by following best practice guidelines and delivering high quality care, excellent customer service and value for money. We understand that for many elderly, young and anxious patients, visiting the dentist can be uncomfortable, but we endeavour to put ever patient at ease.
We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry and want to make your visits as pleasant as possible. We want to ensure good dental health for you and your family and we will achieve that through an excellent standard of dental and preventative care. We always welcome new patients and our dedicated staff will ensure you are treated in a professional manner.

Meet The Team
Dr Homi Nanavaty BDS,LDS,RCS(Edin.)
Clinical Lead
Mr Nanavaty has been a long standing dental practitioner. He was born and raised in India. He completed his dental studies from Royal College of Surgeons Edin. Then proceeded to gather further experience and training at hospital in Canada. He worked for a short period in the US and then returned to the UK to practice as a dental associate in several practices in the home counties. Opportunity knocked at his door and in the 90s he went to Germany bought his own practice which he worked for many years to gain knowledge of the German Healthcare system which was far much advanced and superior compared to UK and only returned to get married to his wife who had recently arrived in Britain.
Currently he work part time in the NHS and private, the rest of the time being spend to follow his other interests and pursuits.
Dr Flo Adesanya
BDS Lagos. DPDS Bristol. MJDF
Flo has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She is a general dentist who loves the variety that each day brings and being able deliver service by being part of the friendly and efficient team that provides a high standard of dental care and puts the needs of its patients first.
Outside of work Flo enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying to keep fit with gym classes -Zumba is a favourite and swimming as well as art and painting and church activities.

I embarked on my professional journey more than three decades ago as a Trainee Dental Nurse. Through unwavering dedication and a steadfast commitment to personal growth, I gradually ascended through the ranks, acquiring diverse expertise along the way. My most recent position entailed serving as a Group Manager, overseeing multiple practices. However, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to provide exceptional care, I made the decision to purchase my own dental practice. Today, with over 12 years of successful ownership under my belt, I find immense fulfilment in working directly with the public, assisting others, and delivering outstanding services. Ensuring that every individual leaves my practice with a smile is not only a professional priority but also a deeply cherished aspect of my work.
Nina speaks English, Punjabi and Urdu.
Dr Fariba Younes
Clinical Lead
Highly Trained senior dentist with over 25 years of experience with general Dentistry, oral surgery, implants, dentures, bridges, veneers and other advanced treatment. she was awarded a master in oral surgery from university of London in 1994. (Private booking available)
Dr Fariba speaks English, Turkish, Kurdish and Farsi.
Abayomi Ajewole
Dental Therapist
Abayomi is a dedicated dental therapist, with expertise in providing restorative treatments such as fillings for both adults and children. Passionate about preventive care, Abayomi works to improve oral health outcomes through patient education and tailored treatment plans.
Rosi Shrestha
Trainee Dental Nurse
Rosi Shrestha embarked in the journey to give a good quality life to people, through dental practice. So, as to start a career in those practices in UK she felt a good start would be with a dental nursing.
Rosi joins us as a trainee dental nurse. She enjoys her line of work with passion and care.
Rosi enjoys experiencing different cuisines, feeling nature and traveling.
Rajat
Surgery Services Coordinator
Rajat is a Surgery Services Coordinator from Nepal. He enjoys every aspect of his work and tries to fulfill his duties with a lot of care and passion.
He loves traveling, music, cooking and nature.
