Pricing Bands

 

 

Band 1

Diagnosis, treatment, planning and maintenance

Clinical examination, radiographs, scaling and polishing if clinically necessary only. Preventive work: e.g. oral health assessment, study models and denture cases.

Band 2

Treatment

Simple treatments: e.g. fillings including root canal therapy, extractions, surgical procedures and dental additions, periodontal treatment (hygienist).

£73.50 

 

Band 3

Complex treatment

Includes a laboratory element: e.g. bridgework, crowns and dentures. Excludes mouth guards.

Exemptions

If you think you are exempt from NHS charges, it is your responsibility to bring valid proof on the day of your appointment. Otherwise NHS charges will be payable on the day. Exemptions are as follows:

  • Pregnancy
  • Given birth in the last 12 months
  • Income related employment and support allowance
  • Job seekers allowance
  • Pension credit
  • NHS tax credits
  • Universal credit
  • HC2 or HC3 certificates

The government will be changing the pricing structure of the NHS work in the near future. Please expect changes in the next 6-8 weeks.

We try to make payments as straight forward as possible. Our normal policy is that patients are asked to pay a proportion of the treatment cost for each visit.
